WELCOME to my blog!
(My secret sanction for writing my rawest thoughts).
I went for a stroll this morning, layered up, the sun shining on my back and sipping from my favourite drink; Mocha
My focus turns to how different the woods looks now. Empty and bare. Comparing it to the luscious canopy created in the summer and the beautiful but dangerous spread of nettles on the ground.
Now the forest is silent and still. Crisp leaves lie on the layer of frost now descending onto the forest floor. I remember walking through this same wilderness a week of being settled in Belfast. With its blooming flowers and fresh scent of grass and ...
Well that is in the past. That time has been and gone again. The trees shake off all their excess to make way for bigger growth. Growth we can not see underground but yet is definitely needed.
Behind the scenes to ensure the cycle of these 4 seasons continue, to ensure they can carry
If they did not they would simply topple over from everything on their shoulders. Hmm…sound familiar?
Next to the rest of animal kingdom, and the microscopic life we cannot see…Sharing our space with it's plants.
My thought is they live very similar to us. Dealing with stress, cold, heat, thirst, they bury they’re roots so deep nothing can move them…or they keep them shallow and branch out.
But...
The difference with plants is, they only know to search for the opportunity in everything adapting to its surroundings. A plant seed lands in a little bit of dirt on an old window sill; adapting to the goodness it can from what it is given
You've all seen it. All you have to do is look.
You’re travelling along, you look up and see an almighty plant growing out the side of a building and you think, “how the fuck is that growing up there?” That plant has taken the situation life has given it and straight away started analysing how it’s going to make that life work for it. Its hardwired into its being.
That is what life does…it works for us.
I put my roots into the ground of what is my life, searching for the goodness that I know is right in front of me. And I absorb it.
There is always something. 1 area of your life that you are kinda happy with and that will always be your starting point…your fuel… feed on it, analyse it, figure out what it contains to make it work.
Break it down to those core roots then start applying that to the other parts of your life.
That problem solving is the main reason I had my heart set on helping people. Training to be a Trauma & Mindset Coach. I’m good at it, I thrive off it, and I don’t fucking stop till I get answers.
If I have to guide someone down every avenue I know, I will. Trust me on that.
I believe we were all hardwired like the plants, then something happened.
We stopped thinking we need to reach out for the goodness in our life because conveniently items where placed in front of us. Our frame was altered and it became warped and twisted. Toxins and mood altering effects swallowed our very existence.
We gave in to this self doubt. Became lazy and thus sealed our fate.
But the best news here is that we can get it back. That mind that keeps you in this place is the same mind that can get you out…if you just learn how to use it better and ask yourself the right questions!
Do not be afraid to step outside that box.
You can quickly apply it to every part of your life and achieve every goal you’ve ever wanted.
I am investing every spare minute of my time into learning these tools and applying it to my life so I can stand here in the near future and say to you “look…I am proof that the mind and life can work for us and I strongly advice that you jump on board.”
Until then..
I leave you with my updates of the journey I am taking.
I’ll show you the ups and downs, easy tips, hilarious fails, my motivational hacks and of course my terrible blogging skills..😆

What you need to remember is if you want it…you have to work for it.
I've been there, in the darkest depths of despair with no one to pull me out.
Trust is the key here. It's yourself that will get you out of that pit, No one else.
My door is always open and I am happy to share my story.. it is after all the most powerful thing we have
Our safe haven,
All my Love,
Beth
